Simply astonished by this little camera. I'll try to make a quick review
from my serious amateur enthusiast photographer point of view.

Pros:

-Image quality superb, better than a lot of DSLR (and m4/3) and light
years better than compacts available (I've already had the flawled Canon
S100, Canon G10, Sony TX100V, Sony HX9V, Fuji 550, Sony DSC-N2,
Panasonic ZS-10). Sony created a whole different category. It is
everything I wanted in a long time.

- F1.8 Lens amazing at low light, tele end f4.9 is not bad at all, I like it too, a lot.

- Tiltable flash with 90º makes amazing indoor pictures.

- The video is unbelivable, I burn AVCHD DVDs to play on blu-ray and it is better than my store bought blu-rays.

- Sony colors and JPEG processing are unparallel. The best of the market.

- Full manual controls. Zooming while video.

- Microphone's position perfect for low noise during windy days.

- Pocket size with a 1" sensor is amazing, 20 MP picture simply perfect at 100% crop, even at low ISO.

- Super quick and smart focus

Cons:

- Pop-up flash have to be manually closed.

- Pocketable yes, but not on a tight jeans or shirt pocket. It would fit, but might look weird...

Bravo Sony, you have a winner. It is worth every penny.
